Tony Wise grew up in a small community in Indiana. His parents operated a restaurant in town located just a couple blocks from the banks of the mighty Ohio River. It was at that restaurant Tony learned the business of taking care of people, as well as how to prepare a mean twice baked potato. As a teenager that chapter of his life ended as the local nuclear power plant shuttered and with that his family’s restaurant. For those that are interested, the town eventually bounced back and is still a great place to visit.

Fast forward to 2003. After graduating from Ohio State, Tony moved to LA and landed in Echo Park, near The Shortstop (for those who know), overlooking Dodger Stadium. His view had most certainly changed. For over 20 years Tony has called NELA home ultimately settling into the hills of Mt. Washington.

With the addition of a couple kids and several animals it was time for more space. Never afraid of a little adventure, Tony and the family sheltered in a tent (it was a nice tent - canvas!) in the backyard while their home was renovated. Eight months later they moved back in.

It was a formative experience. If you truly want to understand a home's worth try watching it getting demo’d while you warm up soup on a camp stove a few feet away.

You are what you live, or something like that. From growing up in hospitality to a career as a film editor for movies and commercials Tony understands the value of being of service to others as well as how a creative eye for detail can transform a property.
